To work with the Fleetrun application, the same-name service should be activated for the user account in the management system.
The work with Fleetrun is carried out in the administrator and the user interfaces.
Working with the administrator interface
The administrator interface is available to the user of the top account.
Below, you can see a possible sequence of work with this interface.
- In Fleetrun, activate a fleet for the required accounts.
- Grant access rights to the fleet to those users who should to work with it.
- Add the required service objects to the fleet.
You can also work through these steps in the user interface on the Activation page (available for users with dealer rights) and on the Administration page (available for the administrators of a fleet) which open after clicking on the same-name items in the user menu.
Working with the user interface
The user interface is available to the users who have access rights to a fleet.
The main part of working with the user interface is the creation of services and control of their terms of completion. There are the following methods to create services:
- creation of intervals on the basis of which the services are created automatically;
- manual creation of services for a separate service object;
- bulk creation of services;
- import of completed services (go directly to the archive).
The steps for creating services on the basis of intervals are described below.
- Create intervals for vehicle maintenance and indicate their frequency.
- On the Line items tab of the interval properties, indicate the cost of spare parts and labour for the interval.
- On the Assigned service objects tab, select the units, trailers and/ or drivers for which the services should be created automatically according to this interval.
- In the user settings, select the types of notifications you want to receive.
- On the Services page, monitor the upcoming services and the ones in progress, and change their status when they are completed.
- Generate a report to see the history of services.
If there is a need for unplanned maintenance, you can create services manually. On the Service objects page, you can create services for several units, drivers and/or trailers at the same time.
