Visual Customization
All the counters and sensors have the same visualization by default, but you can customize them. Click on the Show properties button in the unit settings to open a counter/sensor customization menu. Here you can select any of the available templates for a counter/sensor. The available templates are described below.
Template | Description |
---|---|
Figures | The value of a counter/sensor. |
Needle | Scale with a needle. |
Chart | The chart of a counter/sensor. |
Scale | Horizontal or vertical scale. |
Switch | The switch of a counter/sensor. |
The preview field shows how the selected template looks like.
You can configure individual settings for every counter/sensor in the Additional settings block. The available additional settings are described below.
Option | Description |
---|---|
Unit name | If you want to see the name of a unit to which this counter/sensor belongs, enable this option. The option is available for all the templates. |
Integer values | If you enable this option, the received values are displayed as whole numbers (for example, it can be applied when working with speed values). This option is available for the Figures, Needle and Scale templates. |
Min and max values | Value range indication helps to make templates more illustrative. For example, using the Chart template you receive the values where 5 is a minimum value and 30 is a maximum value. By default, the range value for the chart is from 0 to 100. Such range makes a small chart. To get a more detailed chart, you can indicate a required range value (for example, from 0 to 30). This option is applicable for the Needle, Chart and Scale templates. |
Show grid | This option is used only for the Chart templates and allows to hide or show horizontal and vertical grid lines. |
You can also set any background for a counter/sensor (any graphical format is available). To do this, enter the address of a picture in the corresponding field. This option is available for the Figures, Needle, Scale and Switch templates.
In the Switch template, you can select a colour scheme or indicate a colour text value in the HEX format for on or off states.
In the Needle template, you can indicate value intervals into which the scale is divided, and configure colours for every interval.
