Uploading Driver Files
There are two ways to upload driver files: manual and automatic.
To upload a file manually, click on the Upload file button in the header, choose the required DDD file on your computer and click OK. It opens a window where the file is being downloaded. Then the driver card information with an ID is displayed in the window. The card code received by the system is compared with the driver code created in the monitoring system. There are two variants of confirmation:
- If there is a driver with such code, the file is automatically linked to the driver. You should confirm the action by clicking OK.
- If there is no driver with such code, you can select a driver with no code from the drop-down list, or create a new driver. Then you should confirm the action by clicking OK.
To upload a file in automatic mode, you should send a DDD file request command to a unit in the monitoring system, if the device which is being used supports this command. After that, the requested file is automatically uploaded to the server.
When uploading files in automatic mode, you should create a driver in the monitoring system in advance and enter a code for the driver. Only then the file is automatically linked to the driver. Otherwise, the file is saved on the server and linked to the unit. You cannot view the file in the application.
