How to upgrade Wialon Local from v2504 to v2604

To upgrade Wialon Local from version 2504 to 2604, follow the steps below.

1. Install all available updates in the administration system, if any.

2. Make sure that the Auto-install option is disabled.

3. Contact your Partner Success Manager to request the upgrade and purchase version 2604. After your request is processed, a new update with version 2604 becomes available on the System tab of the administration system. Don’t install it yet.

4. In the Wialon Local terminal, execute the following command on behalf of the root user:

   curl -fsSL https://distro.gurtam.com/version/2504/to2604.sh | sh
   

   This command configures the operating system for Wialon Local version 2604.

5. Install the components that are available on the System tab. If the Auto-install option was previously enabled, you can enable it again.

Since the system requirements have changed in Wialon Local 2604 compared to the previous version, update the backup server only after 20 days have passed and you’ve confirmed that the system is running stably.
