Stops
The Stops table contains information about the stops of the unit.
A stop is an interval during which the speed was lower than the value from the Min. moving speed field, but the duration of which was less than the value from the Min. parking time field on the Trip detector tab. When a stop is detected, a trip is not interrupted. Stops can be registered at traffic lights, crossroads, in traffic jams, etc.
If there are several messages with zero or insignificant speed in succession, they are combined into one stop. If the total time of such a stop reaches Minimum parking time, it is registered as a parking interval (not as a stop).
The Stops table can contain the following columns.
Column | Description |
---|---|
Beginning | The time when the stop started, that is, the time of the first message with the speed lower than the value from the Min. moving speed field. |
End | The time when the stop ended, that is, the time of the last message with the speed lower than the value from the Min. moving speed field. |
Duration | The time between the beginning and the end of the stop. If an interval has only one message with a speed value lower than the minimum speed, the time of this message is considered to be both the beginning and the end of the stop. In such a case, this column shows 0:00:00. |
Total time | The time from the beginning to the end of stop. It is recommended to use this column in combination with the grouping parameter or the Total row. If the Total row is configured in the table, it shows all the time that elapsed from the start of the first stop to the end of the last one. |
Off-time | The time from the end of the previous stop to the beginning of the current one (to be defined beginning from the second stop). |
Location | The address where the unit stopped. |
Coordinates | The coordinates of the unit at the moment of a stop (in decimal degrees). |
Driver | The name of the driver (if available). |
Trailer | The name of the trailer (if it was assigned). |
Count | The number of stops. |
Counter | The counter sensor values (can be helpful either in grouping table data by years/months/weeks/days/shifts or for the reports on unit groups). |
Notes | An empty column for your custom comments. |
Avg weight | The average weight value registered for the stop interval. |
Min weight | The minimum weight value registered for the stop interval. |
Max weight | The maximum weight value registered for the stop interval. |
Initial weight | The weight value at the beginning of the stop interval. |
Final weight | The weight value at the end of the stop interval. |
Video | Files saved during the stop interval using the Video module. To watch them, click on the icon (the number of grouped files is indicated to the right of it, if several). If several grouped files are available, you can select the required one in the drop-down list in the upper-left corner. The column is available if the Video monitoring service is activated in the account properties. |
Image | The images received from the unit. Viewing images in reports and the functions available while doing this are described here. |
See data in reports to learn how time (duration) can be formatted.
Interval filtering (by stop duration, sensor state, driver, trailer, fuel fillings, fuel drains, and battery charges) can be applied to the Stops table.
The Stops table can be supplemented with the corresponding markers on the map.
Stops should be distinguished from parkings.
