Who can do it: Service provider
Where: Wialon Platform Studio
Domain verification is a necessary step to prove that you own the URL you want to use. This is done by adding a CNAME record to your domain’s DNS settings.
- On the Sites page, find the site you created and copy the value from the CNAME column.
- Log in to your domain provider control panel (for example, DigitalOcean or Amazon).
- Navigate to the DNS management section for your domain.
- Create a new DNS record with the following details:
- Type: CNAME
- In the Host or Name field, enter the subdomain you specified in the URL field (for example,
fleetif your URL isfleet.yourcompany.com). - In the Value or Target field, paste the CNAME value you copied from the Sites page.
- Save the new DNS record. DNS changes may take up to several hours to propagate.
- Return to the Sites page.
- Hover over the row of the site you are configuring and click the icon

- Click the Verify button.
Once the verification is successful, the status in the Verified column will be updated. Your site is now ready to be used.
You can check the verification status on the Verification tab in the properties of your site.
