Generating the “Geofences” report

Where: Wialon Platform FleetSpace

You can create the Geofences report to analyze visits to specific locations. To do this:

1. In Wialon Platform FleetSpace, navigate to the Reports page in the sidebar.
2. Click the dropdown menu at the top of the screen and select the Geofences report type. The settings selected for this report will be saved for this session.
3. Click on the date range field in the top bar.
4. In the calendar, select the start and end dates for your report and click Apply.
5. Click on the Devices dropdown menu.
6. Select one or more devices by checking their boxes in the dropdown list and click Apply.
7. Click on the Geofences dropdown menu.
8. Select one or multiple geofences from the list.

The report is generated automatically, displaying data filtered by your selected devices, time period, and geofences. You can navigate to other pages and return to your report. The generated report is available for 1 minute.

Service providers can configure automatic report sending by attaching it to the automations with the actions Send an email and Send Telegram message.

Once the report is generated, the results page provides a summary section at the top and a detailed table below.

The summary section at the top of the report shows key statistics for the selected period, devices, and geofences.

The detailed table contains geofence visit intervals grouped by selected devices.

After you generate the report, you can change how the results are displayed:

• Click Table to view the report as a table.
• Click Map to view visits on the map.

You can also view geofence visit intervals in the Track player.
