Creating a label group

A group is a set of exclusive labels, meaning a device can only belong to one label from that group at a time. For example, a Vehicle status group might contain the labels Free, Busy, and In maintenance. A device can be in only one of these states at once. The same device can be assigned another label only from another group, for example, Truck label from the Vehicle type group.

1. In Wialon Platform Studio, navigate to the Customers tab.
2. Select the desired customer.
3. Go to the Labels tab.
4. Click the New label group button.
5. Enter a descriptive name for the group (for example, Operational status).
6. Click Save.
