Changing the term “Devices” for the customer interface

Who can do it: Service provider
Where: Wialon Platform Studio

You can change the term Device for a customer to a preferred term, for example Vehicle, Car, Ship or Plane. The changes will be applied across the Wialon Platform FleetSpace interface.

To do this:

1. In Wialon Platform Studio, navigate to the Customers tab.
2. Select the specific customer.
3. Click on the Settings tab.
4. Click on the General section.
5. Select the singular form of the term: in the field labeled Custom term for ‘device’, delete the existing term and type in the new term you want to use. For example, replace Device by Vehicle.
6. Select the plural form of the term: in the field labeled Custom term for ‘device’, delete the existing term and type in the new term you want to use. For example, replace Devices by Vehicles.
7. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to apply the changes.
