Configuring video functionality for a device

Service providers can set up video functionality for devices that support it. The available options depend on the device model.

To make video functionality available for a device, make sure that:

1. The Video module is enabled for the customer account the device is assigned to.
2. The device model supports video. Check your model in the list of supported devices. This page also shows the available commands and parameters for the model.
3. The correct model is selected in the Device model field on the General tab of the device properties. Video commands are available only for the models that support them.
4. The device is connected to a channel and sends messages.
5. If the device transmits video through an auxiliary module, the Secondary URI toggle is enabled in the channel settings.

When the device meets the requirements, do the following:

1. Add video commands to a command template and set the camera number in the command parameters.
2. Configure the video widgets in Wialon Platform FleetSpace: Video stream, Media, and Latest video.
