Enabling the “Emissions” module for a customer
Who can do it: Service provider
Where: Wialon Platform Studio
For a user of a customer account to be able to use the Emissions module, the service provider must:
- activate this module for the customer account
- grant the required permissions to the user
Activating the module
To enable the Emissions module for a customer account, you must assign the Advanced billing plan this account.

Features available after activation
Once enabled, the Emissions module features are accessible in Wialon Platform Studio and Wialon Platform FleetSpace for the selected customer.
Features in Wialon Platform Studio become available automatically. Features in Wialon Platform FleetSpace must be added and configured manually.
Wialon Platform Studio
- Page: Emissions (in the sidebar)
- Tab: Emissions in customer details
- Device details: Energy and emissions section (Fuel type, Normative fuel consumption, Consumption unit)
Wialon Platform FleetSpace
- Dashboard widgets: Total fleet emissions, Emissions trend, Emissions by vehicle type, Emissions by fuel type, Emissions by data source (pie chart), Emissions by data source (bar chart). See Configuring emissions Dashboard widgets.
Granting permissions
To give a customer user access to emissions data, grant the View permission for the Emissions entity on the Permissions tab of the user details. See Managing user permissions.
Only View access is available for the Emissions entity. Create, update, and delete operations aren’t supported.
